About the Alexander Technique:

Simply, the Alexander Technique teaches people how to use their bodies better. By re-educating the neuro-muscular system we enable improved mobility, posture and performance while reducing pain that accompanies muscular tension and misuse.

During a 50-minute lesson the student will receive verbal instruction, usually while performing an activity like sitting or standing. Additionally the Alexander teacher will teach the student’s system via hands-on work while the student (fully-clothed) lies on a massage table.
